Set up a protected work area
The WM shop care instructions call attention to sharp objects and rough handling. Before unpacking or repositioning a model, clear fasteners, jewelry and tools away from the working surface. Make room for the entire unit and its packaging. Confirm the recommended support points and obtain help if the weight or shape makes handling awkward.
Check each fabric before long contact
Dark colors can transfer to some finishes. The shop recommends checking whether clothing releases dye before dressing a model. Follow the maker’s advice for the material and allow washed items to dry thoroughly. Pay attention to seams, zippers and other hardware that may press against the surface. Keep a note of fabrics that have caused problems.
Store with even support
Ask the seller which resting position is approved for your body and skeleton. Select a supportive surface with sufficient width and leave enough clearance to move the model without scraping the sides. Avoid heavy objects pressing on a small area. Keep the location away from prolonged direct sunlight and other conditions identified in the care sheet.
Ask before repairing a mark
Take a clear photograph, note the date and record any fabric or product in contact with the affected area. Provide the seller with the body material, finish and order reference.
